Nature's Prophet vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Getting run at by Razor is a nightmare for Nature's Prophet. The entire game plan for Nature's Prophet often relies on building up right-click damage to pick off supports or pressure towers from a safe distance. Static Link completely invalidates this by draining all that damage away, turning him into a harmless Treant. Sprout isn't a reliable escape either; Razor can either attack the trees to break free or the link will persist through the short reposition, leaving Prophet helpless. Razor's Plasma Field also punishes any attempt to kite and gives vision, making it harder to juke into the trees.

This dynamic means Nature's Prophet can't execute his signature split-pushing strategy. Razor is fast, and once he gets on top of Prophet, the Teleportation cast time is usually too long to serve as an escape. In teamfights, Razor can single out Nature's Prophet and render him completely ineffective, forcing him to the fringes of the fight where he contributes very little. Prophet is forced into a game where his primary strengths are nullified, and he can neither fight effectively nor apply the global pressure he needs to win.
