Nature's Prophet vs Windranger

How this matchup plays

Using Sprout on Windranger is often a death sentence for Nature's Prophet. He hands her the perfect tree to land a long-duration Shackleshot, turning his own disable against him. Even if he avoids that, her kit naturally counters his game plan. Powershot can clear out waves of Treants from a safe distance, making it difficult for him to pressure towers or farm the map. If Prophet does commit to a fight, Windrun makes him and his summons miss their attacks, letting her easily turn the engagement around and burst him down before he can react.

This forces Nature's Prophet to play a completely reactive game. He must constantly track Windranger's position and avoid teleporting into any area she might be defending. His usual split-pushing pressure is severely diminished because she can punish him so effectively. Windranger, on the other hand, can play aggressively, knowing that any attempt by Prophet to gank or trap her can be reversed for a kill. His primary escape is easily interrupted by her stun, making him a prime target all game.
