Nature's Prophet vs Winter Wyvern

How this matchup plays

Getting caught by Nature's Prophet's Sprout is usually a death sentence, but Cold Embrace completely nullifies the physical damage from both him and his Treants. The trapped ally is immune to the right-clicks that make his ganks so lethal, buying crucial time for a counter-attack. Beyond saving allies, Winter Wyvern also stalls his split push from a safe distance. Her Splinter Blast can clear an entire creep wave and the accompanying Treants with one cast, making it incredibly difficult for Nature's Prophet to apply sustained pressure to towers.

This dynamic leaves Nature's Prophet struggling to execute his game plan. His attempts at pickoffs are easily foiled, and his efforts to chip away at buildings are constantly reset. In larger fights, Winter's Curse poses a serious threat. If Winter Wyvern catches Nature's Prophet near his own Treants or a physical damage ally, he can be killed by his own side's damage. He’s forced to play much more cautiously, unable to create the map-wide chaos he needs to be effective.
