Gyrocopter vs Hoodwink

How this matchup plays

Trying to accelerate farm with Flak Cannon becomes incredibly dangerous when Hoodwink is on the map. She can wait in the trees for Gyrocopter to show up and land an easy Bushwhack, which often leads to a kill on the fragile hero. Gyrocopter has no innate escape and wants to stand his ground to use Rocket Barrage, but Hoodwink can simply use Scurry to dodge the damage and reposition safely. This fundamental difference in mobility puts Gyro at a constant disadvantage whenever he’s near a treeline.

This pressure completely disrupts Gyrocopter's game plan, which relies on hitting key item timings like a Black King Bar. Hoodwink’s ability to hunt him denies the space he needs to farm, forcing him to play defensively and fall behind. In later teamfights, Gyrocopter is always threatened by a long-range stun from an unseen angle or a Sharpshooter finishing him off if he gets low. Hoodwink dictates the terms of engagement, forcing Gyro to react to her position instead of playing his own game.
