Gyrocopter vs Silencer

How this matchup plays

Getting caught by Global Silence is often a death sentence for Gyrocopter. He relies on a rapid sequence of spells, using Rocket Barrage and Flak Cannon together to output his damage. Silencer’s kit is built to punish exactly that kind of hero. Even without his ultimate, Last Word can stop Gyro’s aggression before it starts. During a full teamfight under Global Silence, Gyrocopter is left unable to use any of his core abilities, turning him into a slow-moving target with no way to fight back or contribute.

This dynamic defines the match from the start. In lane, Silencer can easily bully Gyrocopter and make it difficult for him to farm. Later on, Gyrocopter’s big power spike is completely nullified if Silencer is alive. Gyro is basically forced to buy a Black King Bar far earlier than he wants to, delaying his critical damage items. This gives Silencer's team a huge window to take control of the map while Gyro struggles to catch up, and Silencer himself gets stronger from any fights his team wins.
