Gyrocopter vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map often comes down to who gets the jump. Tiny has one of the scariest initiation combos, and a fragile hero like Gyrocopter can be deleted by Avalanche and Toss before he can react. If Gyrocopter survives that initial burst, however, the fight swings completely. Rocket Barrage punishes Tiny for being so close, and a full duration of Flak Cannon will melt him long before he can get his spells back. It’s a conflict of styles that makes it difficult for one to establish a firm advantage over the other.

Throughout the game, the pressure is on Gyrocopter to position perfectly. Tiny will look for pickoffs with a Blink Dagger to create space and take towers, forcing reactions. Gyro's team has to provide vision and peel to get him through this dangerous period. Once Gyrocopter has core items for survival, the dynamic shifts. He can farm faster and his teamfight presence becomes overwhelming. The game then becomes about whether Tiny’s team can force objectives and end before Gyrocopter comes fully online.
