Gyrocopter vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Laning against an Undying is a miserable experience for Gyrocopter. Repeated casts of Decay drain Gyrocopter's already low health pool, making him an easy target for a Soul Rip burst or basic attacks. Tombstone presents a constant problem; while Flak Cannon can eventually clear the zombies, its cooldown is too long to handle the pressure in the early game. Before he has reliable AoE, Gyrocopter has no efficient way to deal with the swarm, which will slow him down and make him even easier to kill.

This lane dominance snowballs hard. A delayed start means Gyrocopter can’t contribute to fights when Undying is at his strongest. During mid-game teamfights, Flesh Golem’s slow and damage amplification make Gyrocopter a prime target who can't easily kite. He is often forced to dedicate his Flak Cannon to clearing zombies instead of hitting heroes, severely limiting his impact. Gyrocopter's entire game plan requires a good start to build damage, and Undying is built to deny exactly that.
