Gyrocopter vs Viper

How this matchup plays

Farming as Gyrocopter becomes a huge liability because Viper completely dismantles his kit. The constant slows from Poison Attack and Corrosive Skin mean Gyro can neither chase nor escape, preventing him from effectively using Rocket Barrage in the early game. The real problem is Nethertoxin, which strips away Gyrocopter's magic resistance and breaks any defensive passives he builds to survive. A single Viper Strike then locks him down and guarantees the kill, leaving Gyro with no real way to fight back on his own.

From the laning stage onward, Viper dictates the game's tempo. He can shove the wave, threaten towers, and force Gyrocopter into the jungle, severely stunting his farm. Later, Viper forces teamfights that Gyrocopter is too poor to join effectively. Gyro's team is essentially playing a man down until he can secure a Black King Bar, but by then Viper has likely already built an insurmountable map advantage. The matchup requires Gyro's allies to win their lanes and specifically target Viper, or the game ends early.
