Gyrocopter vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a Homing Missile on Weaver feels like a lost cause. He can easily dodge it with Shukuchi, and the same mobility makes it difficult for Gyrocopter to keep him in range for a full Rocket Barrage. Even if Gyro does manage to unload his full combo with Call Down, Weaver can often just Time Lapse to undo all the damage and reposition. Gyrocopter relies on enemies grouping up or being held in place to maximize his Flak Cannon damage, but Weaver’s entire kit is built around avoiding exactly that scenario.

This dynamic gives Weaver the upper hand from the laning stage onwards. He can create pressure and trade effectively without committing to a head-on fight. To win this matchup, Gyrocopter needs his team to provide reliable, instant lockdown that Weaver can’t react to. Without that setup, Gyro struggles to apply his damage where it matters. Weaver, meanwhile, can split the map or find openings to pick off Gyrocopter, who is fragile and lacks a natural escape mechanism.
