Hoodwink vs Morphling

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a Hoodwink can feel like a trap for Morphling. Hoodwink's entire kit plays on positioning around trees, which is exactly where Morphling doesn't want to be. Scurry gives her a way to escape towards cover, and if Morphling follows with Waveform, he can get stunned by Bushwhack. The long channel on Sharpshooter is also well-suited for finishing a target that's trying to survive by gaining health, which is Morphling's primary defensive tool with Attribute Shift. These abilities create a specific threat that Morphling has to respect.

This creates a game of cat and mouse across the map. Hoodwink tries to establish control around treelines and objectives, making it dangerous for Morphling to farm or join fights.
