How this matchup plays

Landing a full Bushwhack combo is Hoodwink's main goal, hoping to burst Terrorblade before he can react. The entire fight hinges on whether Terrorblade can survive that initial damage to cast Sunder. If he does, he likely turns the fight completely, swapping his low health for Hoodwink's. This dynamic makes direct confrontations a tense standoff. Furthermore, a well-timed Reflection can punish Hoodwink for trying to right-click from a distance, using her own damage against her while she's trying to find an angle for her spells.

Early in the game, Hoodwink can make Terrorblade's life difficult, using Scurry to safely ward and find pickoffs near trees while he's trying to farm. Her team will want to use this pressure to secure an early lead. The game becomes much harder for Hoodwink once Terrorblade has a few items and can survive her initial burst. A farmed Terrorblade with Metamorphosis pressures objectives hard, forcing Hoodwink into defensive fights where he is much stronger.
