Hoodwink vs Venomancer

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a kill on Venomancer often feels like a race against time. Hoodwink has the burst damage with Acorn Shot to take him down quickly, but any delay lets Venomancer's poisons start ticking. His Plague Wards can also give away Hoodwink's position in the trees, ruining a potential gank before it starts. This makes setting up a clean Bushwhack combo difficult, as Venomancer is good at controlling vision and slowing down anyone who gets close.

The matchup often comes down to who dictates the pace. Hoodwink looks for fast pickoffs, using her high mobility and burst to catch Venomancer out of position before he can become a problem. If she's successful, she can build a lead and control the map. Venomancer, however, excels in slower, prolonged fights where his damage over time and slows wear down the entire enemy team. He'll try to group with his allies and force objectives, creating messy teamfights where his ultimate can decide the outcome.
