Jakiro vs Lifestealer

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can kite Lifestealer with slows and stuns is a common mistake that gets supports killed. Jakiro relies entirely on his spells for control and damage: Ice Path, Dual Breath, and Macropyre. Lifestealer’s Rage simply makes him immune to all of it, letting him walk through Jakiro's entire arsenal without a scratch. This turns Jakiro from a teamfight controller into a walking target. Lifestealer wants to run at a single hero and kill them, and with Rage active, there is nothing in Jakiro’s own ability kit that can stop him from doing exactly that.

This advantage defines how fights play out from the mid-game onward. A Lifestealer will often ignore the frontline and head straight for Jakiro, using Rage to bypass any attempt to peel for him. This forces the Jakiro player to either buy survival items like a Ghost Scepter very early, delaying his own impact, or play so far back that his spells become ineffective. For Jakiro, teamfights become a stressful game of positioning, knowing that Lifestealer sees him as the easiest kill on the map to start a fight.
