Pushing out lanes against Luna is difficult because she clears waves so quickly with her bouncing attacks. This allows her to accelerate her farm across the map, often hitting key item timings before Jakiro's team can apply significant pressure. While Jakiro's spells like Ice Path and Macropyre offer strong teamfight control, they rely on opponents being grouped up and vulnerable. Luna can simply shove waves and retreat to the jungle, farming safely between major teamfights and avoiding the situations where Jakiro shines most.

The matchup often becomes a race against time. Jakiro’s team needs to force engagements and take objectives early, using his spells to create an advantage before Luna gets her core items. If they fail to build a lead, Luna's superior farming speed allows her to take over. Once she acquires a Black King Bar, she can often ignore Jakiro's control entirely, running at his team and finishing fights before his damage-over-time spells can make a difference.
