Jakiro vs Timbersaw

How this matchup plays

Controlling the pace of the game is much harder when a Timbersaw has to play against a Jakiro. Timbersaw builds up incredible regeneration and armor with Reactive Armor, letting him shrug off physical attacks, but it does almost nothing against Jakiro's consistent magic damage. Spells like Dual Breath and Liquid Fire continuously slow and burn him down, preventing him from regenerating effectively or staying on a target. His entire pattern of zipping in and out with Timber Chain becomes predictable and punishable when a single Ice Path can leave him stranded and helpless.

This means Timbersaw can't create the pressure he normally does. Instead of diving supports, he's forced to play cautiously on the edges of fights, waiting for an opening that might not come. A well-placed Macropyre can completely zone him out or force him to use his Timber Chain to escape rather than engage. To win, Timbersaw needs to find Jakiro out of position and burst him before he can cast his spells, or rely on his team to deal with the dragon first. Otherwise, Jakiro can methodically defend objectives and choke Timbersaw out of the fight.
