Timbersaw (Rizzrack, Shredder, Timbersaw) in Dota 2 7.41: win rate, pick rate, the heroes Timbersaw counters and struggles against, and its best teammates — from recent ranked matches by Batru's AI win-prediction pipeline.
Timbersaw is a melee-shredding offlaner whose Reactive Armor stacks make him unkillable in extended fights, with Whirling Death and Timber Chain for magic burst and mobility. In patch 7.41, though, Timbersaw is one of the most countered heroes in the game — he wins essentially no matchup outright (his best is a coin-flip into Nature's Prophet at 50.2%). He's hammered by silences, anti-armor, and pure damage: Night Stalker (he loses 38.0%), Spectre (38.1%), Necrophos (38.7%) and Silencer (39.0%) all dismantle his Reactive Armor stacks. Draft tip: Timbersaw is a weak pick this patch — only consider him into greedy melee line-ups, and never into silence, break, or pure-damage heroes.

Timbersaw is a self-sufficient durable nuker, but in this patch he needs partners who cover his many weaknesses and provide the carry threat he lacks. His best pairings are scaling cores who win the games his tankiness prolongs: Wraith King (48.8%), Spectre (47.5%) and Troll Warlord (47.4%) provide the late-game punch. Given how countered he is right now, Timbersaw is best as a tempo/zoning piece next to a strong hard-carry rather than a win condition himself.
