Playing against either of these heroes means constantly being slowed and taking damage over time. Venomancer blankets the map with Plague Wards and Poison Sting, while Jakiro uses Dual Breath and Liquid Fire to harass from a safe distance. Neither hero has a reliable way to get on top of and burst the other before they can cast their spells. They both excel at keeping enemies at arm's length and controlling space, so they end up fighting a long-range battle of attrition against each other, with neither gaining a clear upper hand from their kits alone.
