Juggernaut vs Muerta

How this matchup plays

Facing down Muerta's ultimate can be a real problem, but Juggernaut has good tools to deal with it. Pierce the Veil makes her ethereal and lets her attack with magic damage, but Juggernaut's Blade Fury grants magic immunity, completely negating her shots. He can either spin on her to force a retreat or use it defensively to wait out her ultimate's duration. The same magic immunity also lets him walk straight through The Calling's silence and fear, taking away another one of her key spells and letting him get close.

This dynamic forces Muerta to play around Juggernaut's cooldowns. Her best chance is to bait out Blade Fury and then use her ultimate while he can't become immune. Juggernaut, on the other hand, wants to hold his spin until she commits. His own ultimate, Omnislash, provides invulnerability, giving him another way to dodge her damage or secure a kill before she can react. The fight often comes down to who uses their key ability first, but Juggernaut having multiple answers to her damage gives him a slight initiative.
