Juggernaut vs Outworld Destroyer

How this matchup plays

Trying to control a fight is Outworld Destroyer's main job, but Juggernaut's Blade Fury makes that incredibly difficult. The magic immunity lets Juggernaut ignore almost all of OD's damage and control, including the full impact of Sanity's Eclipse. This leaves Outworld Destroyer reliant on his pure-damage Arcane Orb and a perfectly timed Astral Imprisonment for survival. Because Juggernaut can often choose when and where to spin, he dictates the terms of the engagement, forcing OD into a reactive and defensive posture from the start of any fight.

This dynamic gives Juggernaut a consistent window to be aggressive. In lane or mid-game skirmishes, he can simply run at Outworld Destroyer, who has to respect the threat. OD’s plan is to survive these moments, get a mobility item like a Force Staff, and then create space once Blade Fury is over. If he can kite Juggernaut after the spin ends, his pure damage becomes a serious problem. The matchup often comes down to whether Jugg can secure a kill during that magic immunity or if OD can successfully disengage and turn the fight.
