Juggernaut vs Pangolier

How this matchup plays

Trying to fight a Juggernaut as Pangolier often feels like your main tools are disabled. Swashbuckle is supposed to set up right-clicks and a potential Lucky Shot disarm, but Blade Fury completely shuts that down, letting Juggernaut ignore the harass or turn and run you over. Later on, your mobility doesn't help much against Omnislash. You can’t Swashbuckle away once it starts, and even activating Rolling Thunder for its magic immunity won't stop the physical damage from the slashes. It's a reliable lockdown tool against a hero who normally hates being locked down.

This dynamic means Juggernaut can often play his own game without much fear. In lane, Pangolier struggles to make his damage stick, while a well-timed spin from Juggernaut can secure a kill. During mid-game teamfights, Pangolier has to be extremely careful. He wants to roll in and cause chaos, but if Juggernaut catches him at the end of it, he's a primary Omnislash target. Pangolier’s best bet is to try and bait the spin from a safe distance before committing, but that's a difficult game to play against a hero who can turn the tables so quickly.
