Juggernaut vs Primal Beast

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map with early aggression is a core part of Primal Beast's strategy, but Juggernaut’s kit makes him a difficult target to pin down. Blade Fury allows Juggernaut to ignore the setup for a gank, purging slows from Uproar and creating enough space to escape an Onslaught. This forces Primal Beast to find other targets, giving Juggernaut the freedom to farm and hit his item timings. Omnislash also serves as a direct punishment for a Primal Beast that charges in too aggressively, often killing him before he can have a major impact on a teamfight.

Throughout the game, the pressure is on the Primal Beast to find the perfect initiation. Juggernaut can often play his own game, using Healing Ward to sustain through chip damage and saving Blade Fury as a defensive tool. While a well-timed Pulverize on a Juggernaut caught without spin is an easy kill, he has more ways to dictate the terms of the engagement than most other carries. Primal Beast has to wait for a mistake, whereas Juggernaut can proactively farm and split push with a reliable safety net.
