Juggernaut vs Riki

How this matchup plays

Trying to fight Riki leaves Juggernaut with few good options. Riki's Smoke Screen is the core of the problem, creating a zone where Juggernaut is silenced and his attacks are very likely to miss. This heavily reduces the effectiveness of an Omnislash cast inside it. Even if Juggernaut finds a good opening for his ultimate, Riki can often make himself completely untargetable with Tricks of the Trade to dodge the damage entirely. Juggernaut’s own defensive spin is also less reliable for escaping, as he can’t use items like a Town Portal Scroll while silenced in the smoke.

This dynamic forces Juggernaut to play reactively all game. Riki can confidently look for pickoffs, knowing he has multiple ways to nullify Juggernaut's most threatening abilities. Juggernaut, in turn, has to wait for Riki to commit his spells elsewhere before he can safely engage in a teamfight. Without that opening, Juggernaut risks wasting his ultimate and getting kited, unable to connect with his target or contribute effectively. He needs his team to provide lockdown and vision before he can act.
