Juggernaut vs Warlock

How this matchup plays

Fighting into a Warlock is a real test of timing for Juggernaut. Warlock can land a Fatal Bonds on him before he gets a chance to spin, and since Blade Fury doesn't remove debuffs, Juggernaut is stuck with it. This makes him a huge liability in teamfights, spreading damage to his whole team as he tries to fight. On the other hand, a well-timed Blade Fury lets Juggernaut ignore Upheaval completely and even dodge the initial stun from Chaotic Offering. This often allows him to run straight past the front line and kill the Warlock.

The result is a standoff that hinges on execution. A good Warlock will position himself far in the back, forcing Juggernaut to choose between hitting the Golem or trying to reach the back lines through a whole team. Juggernaut's goal is to close that gap before Warlock can get his ultimate off, or to use Omnislash to kill the Golem quickly and reset the fight. Each hero has the tools to counter the other's main plan, making the outcome depend entirely on who plays the engagement better.
