Kez vs Tusk

How this matchup plays

Facing Tusk often means Kez can't get the clean duel he wants. Kez is built to anticipate a big hit and use his parry, but much of Tusk's threat isn't a single attack. Tag Team is a debuff that makes Kez vulnerable to follow-up from Tusk’s whole team, not a spell he can deflect. Getting trapped in Ice Shards also doesn't offer a clear moment to counterplay; it creates a poor situation where Kez gets focused, making his one-on-one tools less relevant.

Throughout the game, Tusk will look for chances to gank and disrupt Kez's farm. A successful Snowball initiation with an ally makes it very difficult for Kez to survive before he has key items. Later on, even if Kez can win a direct fight, Tusk's job isn't to duel him. Instead, Tusk uses Walrus PUNCH to stun Kez or Ice Shards to block his path, allowing Tusk's own cores to deal damage safely. Kez needs to play carefully, farming away from Tusk and waiting for those control spells to be used on someone else before he commits to a fight.
