Drafting Kunkka into a Lifestealer forces you to accept that a core part of your kit is compromised. Kunkka’s ability to control a fight hinges on X Marks the Spot, setting up his Torrent and Ghostship combo. However, Lifestealer can simply use Rage after being marked to gain spell immunity, completely ignoring the recall and the stuns. This interaction turns Kunkka’s primary setup tool into a liability, as it often invites Lifestealer to charge forward safely. With no reliable way to lock down or kite his opponent, Kunkka is left with very few tools to survive a direct confrontation.

Throughout the game, this dynamic allows Lifestealer to play aggressively and dictate engagements. He doesn’t need to worry about being caught out of position by Kunkka, and can instead focus on running down Kunkka’s allies.
