Struggling to keep up in farm is a common experience for Kunkka in this lane. Zeus's constant magical harass makes it difficult to stay healthy without spending a lot on regeneration, which can delay Kunkka's core items. While Tidebringer can shove the wave, Zeus matches that clear speed with his own spells, so Kunkka can't easily secure runes or control the lane's tempo. This consistent pressure from abilities like Arc Lightning often means Kunkka is playing from behind, giving Zeus a small but meaningful head start on the map.

Later on, the matchup becomes a cat-and-mouse game of positioning. Kunkka's plan is to find a clean X-Torrent-Boat combo to delete Zeus before he can react.
