Leshrac vs Magnus

How this matchup plays

Getting caught in a Reverse Polarity is a game-losing moment for most heroes, and Leshrac is no exception. Being stunned and unable to use items or abilities is a death sentence. The problem for Magnus, though, is that his ideal setup requires him to jump right into the effective range of Leshrac’s Pulse Nova. If the initial burst after the stun isn't enough to kill Leshrac, Magnus and his team are left standing in a storm of area-of-effect damage that can melt them in seconds. Skewer can be used to isolate Leshrac, but this often puts him even closer to Magnus’s allies, which is a dangerous gamble.

The matchup often hinges on key item timings and teamfight execution. Leshrac can pressure the lane early, potentially slowing down Magnus's Blink Dagger. Once Magnus is mobile, however, the threat becomes very real. His team wants to find that perfect RP to delete Leshrac before he can react. Leshrac’s side has to play more spread out, baiting the ultimate and looking to punish Magnus once it’s on cooldown. It’s a standoff where the team that better executes its big teamfight spell usually comes out ahead, making the outcome feel dependent on who blinks first.
