Leshrac vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Controlling the pace of the game is much easier for Zeus because he never has to put himself at risk. Leshrac needs to run into the fight to get his damage off with Pulse Nova and Diabolic Edict, but Zeus can safely chip him down from a huge distance. This constant, long-range magical pressure makes it extremely difficult for Leshrac to farm or position aggressively. Every time Leshrac steps up to a creep wave or a jungle camp, he’s a target. He has no way to answer Zeus's harassment without overextending and likely dying for it.

As a result, Leshrac often falls behind and can’t hit the timings for the survival items he desperately needs. While Leshrac is trying to recover, Zeus can impact the entire map with Thundergod's Wrath, turning distant fights and accelerating his own farm. The game becomes a race against the clock for the Leshrac player, who needs his team to create a perfect jump on Zeus. If they can't provide that lockdown, Zeus will simply stay in the back, kite with his team, and melt Leshrac from outside his effective range.
