Lifestealer vs Marci

How this matchup plays

Trying to lock down a Lifestealer with stuns and throws is the core of Marci’s game plan, and it often fails completely here. Lifestealer can activate Rage to become immune to the magic damage and control from both Dispose and Rebound. This means Marci can’t set him up for a gank, nor can she easily peel him off a friendly hero he’s attacking. He can simply ignore her primary tools for controlling a teamfight and walk wherever he wants, creating a major problem for her team's positioning and safety.

This advantage isn't overwhelming, however, because Marci can still fight back effectively. Her ultimate, Unleash, deals physical damage that punches straight through Rage, allowing her to trade hits with Lifestealer even when he’s magic immune. The matchup then revolves around these key cooldowns. Lifestealer wants to force a fight when Unleash is unavailable, giving him a window of complete dominance. Marci, in turn, must be smart about when she commits her ultimate, either holding it to duel Lifestealer or using it on a more vulnerable target.
