Lifestealer vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to kite Lifestealer with slows often backfires. Snapfire’s kit is built around creating space with slows from Lil' Shredder and Scatterblast, but Lifestealer’s Rage makes him completely immune to all of it. He can simply activate his spell immunity and run straight at her. A single Firesnap Cookie isn’t enough to create a safe gap, especially once he starts hitting and applying his own slow. With no other escape mechanism, Snapfire has no reliable way to disengage from a committed Lifestealer.

This dynamic makes teamfights incredibly difficult for Snapfire. She becomes a primary target that Lifestealer can almost always kill. Her best contribution, Mortimer Kisses, requires her to stand still and channel, which makes her an obvious and easy mark. Lifestealer can wait for her to commit to her ultimate and then run her down with impunity. Snapfire is forced to itemize defensively with a Force Staff or Ghost Scepter and play from extreme distances, while Lifestealer’s game plan is as simple as finding her on the map.
