Lina vs Terrorblade

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Terrorblade is a huge risk for Lina. His low health pool makes him a very tempting target for Laguna Blade, and a successful Light Strike Array can set up a kill before he can react. The entire exchange hinges on whether he survives that initial magic damage. If he does, a well-timed Sunder completely reverses the situation, leaving Lina with no health and no major cooldowns. This singular interaction makes their direct fights incredibly volatile, often decided by who gets the jump on the other.

The game then becomes a race between their different power spikes. Lina wants to control the map and find kills before Terrorblade can farm a Black King Bar, which largely neutralizes her magical threat. Meanwhile, Terrorblade’s plan is to survive the early aggression, use Metamorphosis to secure farm, and hit his item timings. He can also use Reflection to slow Lina and make it harder for her to land her combo. The winner is often the one who can better execute their game plan and force fights on their own terms.
