How this matchup plays

Putting Mirana against Luna creates a lane that can swing either way based on a single spell. A successful Sacred Arrow setup can easily kill Luna early on. However, if Mirana misses, Luna has high base damage and movement speed, letting her turn the trade around. Mirana’s Leap provides a crucial escape from Luna's Eclipse, allowing her to dodge the initial burst and reposition. Conversely, a farmed Luna can often shrug off Mirana's initial damage and simply run her down. This gives both heroes clear opportunities to outplay the other at all stages, preventing either one from having a consistent upper hand.

The matchup often comes down to vision and team coordination. Mirana excels with Moonlight Shadow, setting up ganks on a farming Luna who has split from her team. Luna’s goal is to survive these attempts, using her superior farming speed to get key items like a Black King Bar. Once she has those, she can group with her team and force fights. The game then shifts to which team executes better: Mirana’s side trying to find an isolated pickoff on Luna, or Luna’s team managing to protect her long enough for Eclipse to win a teamfight.
