Luna vs Night Stalker

How this matchup plays

Getting caught out as Luna when the first night hits can feel impossible. Night Stalker gains a massive advantage, able to run her down from anywhere on the map. His silence is the key problem, as it stops Luna from being able to use Eclipse as a defensive burst to turn the gank around. Without help from her supports, she's often a free kill for him during his early power spikes, which can seriously slow down her farm and delay her core items. Her natural speed helps, but it’s often not enough against his charge.

The game state can flip completely once Luna gets an item like a Black King Bar. With spell immunity, she can ignore Night Stalker's silence and simply fight back. Luna also pushes towers extremely fast, which lets her team apply pressure during the day when Night Stalker is at his weakest. It becomes a race: can Night Stalker and his team win the map before Luna comes online? If she can survive the nights and hit her item timings, her high physical damage output from Moon Glaives will eventually overwhelm him in fights.
