Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Slark wins the Lycan vs Slark matchup: Slark beats Lycan in 52.87% of 7,244 ranked matches.
Thinking you can run down and burst Slark often ends badly for the Lycan player. While Lycan's physical damage during Shapeshift is high, a single Pounce leash can completely trap him, negating his speed advantage and making him an easy target. Slark also has a good answer for the wolf pack, as Dark Pact damages and clears them out while simultaneously purging away any slows Lycan might have. This gives Slark control over the fight. However, the game isn't decided by this alone. If Lycan uses his early objective-taking power to pressure the map and end before Slark gets farmed, he can still secure a win.
