Catching heroes in a Reverse Polarity often means their death, but Omniknight’s kit complicates that plan. While his team is stunned, he can cast Guardian Angel, making them immune to the physical damage from Magnus’s Empowered allies that is supposed to follow up. This turns the fight into a standoff. The stun from Reverse Polarity still lands, but without the physical burst, its impact is severely reduced. Omniknight can also use Heavenly Grace to dispel the stun from a crucial ally, allowing them to escape or reposition while the rest of the team is still locked down.

The matchup becomes a game of positioning and initiation. Magnus wants to find an angle where his blink-and-stun catches Omniknight himself, preventing the Guardian Angel from ever being cast. Meanwhile, Omniknight has to play cautiously, staying on the edge of the fight to ensure he can react to Magnus’s dive.
