Controlling the map often comes down to who wins the big teamfights, and Treant Protector has a direct answer to Magnus’s signature play. A successful Reverse Polarity is meant to clump the enemy team for a wombo combo, but this setup is exactly what Treant wants to see. The moment the stun ends, he can cast Overgrowth from a safe distance, rooting Magnus's entire team and stopping their follow-up cold. This turns the ideal initiation into a liability, as Magnus's allies are now trapped in place for a counter-attack. Living Armor can also help a key ally survive the initial burst damage, further spoiling the setup.
