Marci vs Sniper

How this matchup plays

Trying to run at Sniper is often a losing battle for Marci. His long attack range and the slow from Shrapnel mean he can kite her effectively, getting in a lot of damage before she ever gets close. Even if Marci manages to close the gap with Rebound, the knockback and slow from a Headshot proc can disrupt her Unleash flurry. This gives Sniper a crucial window to create distance again or for his team to peel. Marci needs to find a perfect opening, whereas Sniper is inherently difficult to approach.

This dynamic shapes the entire game. Sniper wants to farm safely and then position himself far behind his team during fights, making him an awkward target. Marci is then forced to either find a flank or commit a long-range Rebound, which can leave her exposed and out of position if the initiation fails. She often needs a Blink Dagger to reliably threaten him, which is a significant investment. Unless Marci can consistently coordinate ganks with her team, Sniper usually finds enough space to deal his damage from a safe distance, giving him a minor but consistent edge.
