Marci vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Playing for map control feels like a stalemate here. Zeus constantly pushes waves and chips away at anyone nearby with his spells from a safe distance, making it dangerous for Marci to move around or farm openly. This can delay her timings for critical items like a Black King Bar. The core of the matchup is Marci needing to close the gap to land her stun and burst combo, while Zeus needs to maintain that distance. If Marci can get on top of him, he's almost certainly dead, but his constant magical pressure makes that approach very difficult.

Later in the game, it becomes a duel of positioning. Marci will look for flanks and smoke ganks to find and delete Zeus before a fight even starts. A successful pick-off on him can break a team's defense. In response, Zeus has to play with extreme caution, using his spells for vision before moving and relying on items like a Force Staff to escape Marci's initiation. The entire fight can hinge on whether Marci can land Dispose before Zeus or his team can react and peel her off.
