Mirana vs Morphling

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can Attribute Shift through the damage is how a lot of Morphlings die in this matchup. The problem is that a long-range Sacred Arrow provides a stun that's more than long enough for Mirana and her team to kill you. While stunned, you can't shift to Strength. Morphling is naturally fragile to magic burst when he’s built for damage, and Mirana brings exactly that with Starstorm. Her entire kit lines up perfectly to exploit the moment of weakness created by her own stun, preventing Morphling from using his main survival tool when he needs it most.

This dynamic shapes the whole game. During the laning stage and mid-game, Mirana is always a threat, able to rotate for a gank that Morphling can't escape if the Arrow connects. Later on, teamfights often revolve around trying to land that one key stun on him. Morphling is forced to play cautiously and rely on his teammates for saves or vision, while Mirana gets to play proactively. Moonlight Shadow further complicates things, hiding rotations and making it incredibly risky for Morphling to split-push or farm aggressively.
