Trying to set up a gank with Moonlight Shadow feels unreliable when a Zeus is on the other team. His Lightning Bolt provides true sight, which can instantly reveal a supposedly invisible Mirana and completely ruin an ambush. Beyond countering her ultimate, Zeus chips away at heroes with relentless, hard-to-avoid magical damage. Mirana relies on her agility and Leap to dodge projectiles, but she can't sidestep point-and-click spells or the passive damage from Static Field. This makes it difficult for her to stay healthy enough to look for an opening.

This dynamic plays out across the entire game. Mirana wants to find pickoffs with Sacred Arrow, but Zeus's constant pressure forces her to play more defensively. Even when Mirana’s team secures a kill, a global Thundergod's Wrath can pick off a low-health survivor, turning a clean win into a trade. For Mirana to get ahead, she needs to land a key arrow and have her team instantly commit to bursting Zeus down. It's a clear win condition, but his ability to contribute damage from anywhere on the map gives his own team a small, persistent edge in most fights.
