Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Morphling wins the Morphling vs Shadow Fiend matchup: Morphling beats Shadow Fiend in 54.79% of 30,397 ranked matches.
Facing a full Requiem of Souls is a test of reaction time for Morphling. If he's caught with high agility, Shadow Fiend's magical burst can be overwhelming. The reverse is also true; surviving the initial barrage by shifting to strength leaves Shadow Fiend extremely vulnerable. Morphling can then easily turn and eliminate the fragile Shadow Fiend. Using Morph on SF can also swing a fight, giving Morphling access to his own Shadowraze combo and a powerful Requiem.
The matchup often feels like a duel that hinges on who gets the first move. In lane, it’s a constant battle for position to land or dodge Shadowraze. Later on, it becomes about vision and initiation. A Shadow Fiend who blinks in and lands his combo first will usually win. But if Morphling anticipates this, survives with Attribute Shift, and closes the gap with Waveform, he has all the tools needed to take over the fight. It's a true test of execution from both players.
