Morphling vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Shifting into full agility to burst a target exposes Morphling to a unique threat from Undying. A single cast of Decay can lower Morphling’s maximum health by stealing his Strength, leaving him vulnerable to any follow-up damage. Tombstone can also make it difficult for him to focus down a hero or escape with Waveform, as the zombies create chaos and apply a constant slow. This forces Morphling to be much more careful about when he commits to a fight.

Because of this, Morphling is often forced to play defensively and keep his Strength attribute higher than he might want, which can slow down his item progression and damage output. His plan becomes surviving Undying's early pressure to farm items like a Black King Bar that let him ignore the control. If Morphling can navigate that difficult mid-game, his late-game scaling can still win the game, but Undying creates a real hurdle for him to overcome first.
