Naga Siren vs Phantom Assassin

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a single hero becomes difficult when Phantom Assassin has to face a wall of illusions. Naga Siren splits into multiple targets, making it hard for PA to find the real hero and start swinging. With a mana-draining item, those illusions can empty Phantom Assassin's small mana pool, leaving her without her defensive or offensive spells. On the other hand, PA is naturally good at clearing those illusions. A Battle Fury lets her cleave them down, and her critical strikes can often one-shot them anyway.

The matchup often comes down to a farm race and who gets the jump. Phantom Assassin wants to get her core items and start hunting heroes, hoping to kill Naga Siren before she can build a lead. If Naga gets the space she needs, her illusions create immense map pressure and become a huge problem in fights. It’s a classic carry showdown where the hero with the better start usually dictates the tempo. Late game fights depend on whether PA can find and burst the real Naga, or if Naga can use Ensnare and her army to bog PA down.
