Naga Siren vs Windranger

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a good Shackleshot or Focus Fire is a nightmare when there are multiple Nagas running at you. Windranger's entire kit is designed to isolate and eliminate a single hero, but Naga Siren's illusions completely undermine that plan. Her illusions make it difficult to target the real hero, and they can easily body-block a Shackleshot. Even if Windranger finds the right target, Naga can use Ensnare to lock her down for the illusions to attack, or use Song of the Siren to reset the fight entirely if things go wrong. Windranger simply doesn't have the tools to deal with the chaos.

This dynamic gives Naga Siren control over the pace of the game. She can split push lanes that Windranger struggles to defend alone, forcing rotations and creating space for her team. In larger fights, Windranger has to wait for her own team to clear out all the illusions before she can safely use her spells on the real Naga. If she commits Focus Fire to an illusion, her most important spell is wasted. Windranger needs her allies to provide significant area damage to even create an opportunity for her to contribute, while Naga can often find and kill her without any help.
