How this matchup plays

Facing a Naga Siren as Zeus means your main job is constantly clearing waves of illusions. Your chain lightning and passive damage are great for this, stopping her from easily taking objectives or overwhelming your team in a chaotic fight. It keeps her pressure in check. The problem is, if Naga Siren herself gets on top of you, you have almost no way to escape. An Ensnare is usually a death sentence, as she and her illusions can quickly drain your mana and then your health. You counter her farm, but she counters your hero if she can find you.

This dynamic makes the mid-game really tense. Zeus can use Thundergod's Wrath to punish Naga's team globally and slow down her farm, but he has to play carefully. Once Naga Siren gets a core item or two, she can start looking for you. Teamfights often depend on who gets the jump. Naga wants to use Song of the Siren to set up a clean kill on Zeus, while Zeus needs his team to create enough space for him to safely spam his spells from the backline and wear her down before she can connect.
