Nyx Assassin vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Trying to run down a team with Static Link can be difficult when Nyx Assassin is around. While Nyx isn't looking to burst Razor, his toolkit is well-suited to breaking up Razor’s aggression. A well-timed Spiked Carapace will reflect damage from Plasma Field or Eye of the Storm, stunning Razor at a critical moment and stopping his momentum cold. This gives allies a window to escape the link or turn the fight. Following up with Impale adds even more lockdown, leaving Razor stranded and unable to chase.

Across the game, this dynamic forces Razor to play carefully. He can't simply run at the enemy team if Nyx has his spells ready. Instead of being a primary burst target, Nyx Assassin acts more like a bodyguard, using his stuns to peel for whichever core Razor tries to drain. Razor’s best bet is to get a Black King Bar to ignore the disruption, or wait for Nyx to use his abilities on someone else. This creates a tense standoff where Nyx's ability to interrupt and control teamfights gives his team a small but consistent advantage.
