Ogre Magi vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Trying to maintain a Static Link on a target protected by Ogre Magi can be frustrating. A well-timed Bloodlust gives the linked ally a major speed advantage, often letting them simply run out of the tether's break distance. Ogre can compound this by hitting Razor with Ignite, slowing him to a crawl and making the chase nearly impossible. While Fireblast doesn't break the link itself, the stun can stop Razor from repositioning or using items, buying his victim that crucial extra second to get away.

This dynamic gives Ogre's team more room to breathe on the map. Razor's usual plan of running down a key hero is less reliable when that hero can be sped up and Razor himself can be slowed and stunned. Razor is then forced to play more cautiously, either waiting for Ogre to use his spells on someone else or trying to burst Ogre down first. If Razor can’t reliably isolate and drain a core, his impact in teamfights is noticeably lower, which can slow his team's tempo.
