Omniknight vs Phantom Assassin

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a critical strike as Phantom Assassin only to have the target become immune to physical damage is a major problem. Omniknight's Guardian Angel completely shuts down her burst potential for its duration, turning a guaranteed kill into a failed gank. His other spells can also be disruptive, with Heavenly Grace dispelling the slow from Stifling Dagger and the heal from Purification saving an ally from the brink. However, these powerful saves have long cooldowns and require Omniknight to be in the right place at the right time. Phantom Assassin can use her mobility to play around his positioning and bait these abilities.

The matchup becomes a game of cooldowns and target selection. Phantom Assassin will often try to find a quick pick-off on a support to force Omniknight to use his ultimate early, leaving his main core vulnerable later. On the other side, Omniknight has to position perfectly to counter-initiate when PA jumps in. Late game fights can swing based on a single choice: whether PA commits to a target before the ultimate is used, or if she has an item like a Nullifier to purge the effect and continue her assault. The outcome really depends on timing and execution.
