Omniknight vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Zeus's constant magical poke can feel oppressive, forcing frequent trips to the fountain and slowing down the map for Omniknight's team. Heavenly Grace, however, provides a powerful answer. By giving a core hero high status resistance and a strong dispel, it makes them much harder for Zeus to burst down. While Guardian Angel offers no protection from Zeus himself, it can completely shut down his physical damage allies for its duration, leaving Zeus without the follow-up damage he needs to secure kills after he unloads his spells.

Throughout the game, Zeus will look for opportunities to whittle down fragile heroes from a safe distance, hoping to pick someone off with Thundergod's Wrath before a fight begins. Omniknight's job is to predict the target and use his defensive spells to keep his team healthy. The success of either hero often depends on their team's composition. Omniknight excels at enabling his own cores to get on top of a fragile hero like Zeus, while Zeus punishes teams that lack the mobility or initiation to close the gap on him.
