Wasting a full set of cooldowns to pop Reincarnation is a losing trade for Phantom Assassin. She relies on quick, decisive kills to stay safe, but Wraith King simply gets back up, ready to fight. This forces PA to commit everything for a temporary kill, leaving her exposed and out of options when he revives. It is a fundamental mismatch of an assassin's burst against a hero with two health bars.

This dynamic forces Phantom Assassin to play an entirely different game. Instead of hunting the enemy carry, she must avoid Wraith King and try to pick off his teammates, hoping his stun is not available. A good Wraith King leverages this, playing aggressively to claim map space and daring PA to contest.
